Great pads, great looks I purchased these to go on my thule roof rack with square bars. Looks very nice, easy to install. You should pull the cords nice and tight before tying them off to make sure the pad doesn’t twist around (however, I don’t think this will be an issue unless you have round bars. The pads fit nice and tight around the square bars on my rack. I bought 2 pairs, so the bars on my rack are completely covered. Purchased them to replace old (torn and faded) originals.Prefer these wider versions that cover the entire cross-bar vs. the originals.Uncovered bars mean greater potential for dings/damage.The only other significant differences (2):(1) the originals had spring-loaded toggle stoppers similar to these …
