Paddleboard Saved! I bought this merely to have as a Backup fin, but now it is on the board full time. When my original fin fell off and I was lucky to retrieve it, I decided to always keep an extra in the truck just in case it gets permanently lost. However, this fin is a bit heavier and a tad longer than the one on my Tower Adventurer 2 (early model). First time out in choppy lake conditions I could tell Boardwas more stable. Works great for 1/2 the cost We had the misfortune of losing the hardware to attach the original fin that came with our paddleboard. We tried a makeshift attachment system, but one day it failed and the original fin is now somewhere at the bottom of the lake. Found this replacement at Amazon and it has saved our board!
