As a novice, I love it! I am new to the sport and found that I was having difficulty paddling in a straight line. My old fin wasn’t much smaller, 8-9″. This fin was the largest I could find for a reasonable price so I took a chance. Before I was getting 3-4 strokes per side and with this fin I was immediately getting 5-7 stokes before having to switch hands. I am a novice to SUP — my son and I managed to ground the fin on a borrowed Yoga board, and when we returned from the island we had paddled to, we noticed it was missing. Perfect replacement for my Jimmy Styx SUP. They are solid and seem much better quality than the original ones I got with my boards. Strong enough that I was able to use them as weapons in shark infested water. Saved my life they did.
