It DOES run larger than size giude! The jacket fits larger than the size guide. I put off buying this item for a year due to the conflicting reviews regarding size,(too small, too big, just right). I would have given 5 stars if the size chart was accurate. Because the reviews regarding size varied, I relied on the size chart and bought the large. Great value. I did not have high expectations when I bought this jacket, but we’ve been pleasantly surprised. My husband insisted he did not want or need a wetsuit to get in Central Florida water in winter.
