Great Mount – Poor Instructions This product was exactly what I was looking for. I needed a product to store a 32 foot ladder out of the way and this product did just that. The instructions were clear and I was able to install the product in about 30 minutes. The most time consuming part of installation was running the rope. Double checking the installation instructions and looking at the manufacturers website helped ensure the rope was run correctly.My only complaint with this product is the included rope was not…
I like the design where the two pulleys synch together for the lift. I have set up the lift to raise 4 ladders out of my way. Now I am able and happy to move them. I did not like the short rope as if did not allow me to lift the ladders to the top of my Barn (12 Feet). Moreover, I was the only one in the family that could actually pull the rope to lift the 4 ladders up that high. I found my application was way to hard for my Wife and/or my son to pull it up.
