Quad (4-fin) configuration is great for all-around performance. It gives your surfing a “tighter” feeling than with a thruster (3-fin) configuration. Great for driving and pumping down the line on fast waves, and you’ll notice more hold in barreling waves. But it’s still loose enough to get crazy with your turns and airs.

HO STEVIE! You’re doing a great job dude. I use these on my Slingshot t-Rex kiteboard primarily for surfing and boosting. They do the job nicely. Pretty rigid for a plastic fin. I lose a lot of fins at low tide so I prefer plastic fins. I haven’t lost any of these yet but I did just surf some macking 10ft North Shore and these fins held up like a champ.
